It’s our first own Neverbeen home to offer a real “never been” experience to travellers visiting Batticaloa, Eastern Sri Lanka. Lady Manning is overlooking the lagoon inspired by the local fisherman community with an ancient Dutch fort in the background, making Lady Manning a great lagoon escape spot to chill out in the main heart of Batticaloa.
This house feels real never been home and we loved it very much. It is very well kept and has lots of character, much of it derived from it never been experienced. With many spacious living halls but intimate rooms, the living hall place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Many of the original features are designed by the Neverbeen team, including the little garden and the traditional, private and workplace friendly. Even the little garden next to the living hall is full of surprises.
