Dunhinda Falls is a waterfall located about 5 kilometers from Badulla in the lower central hills of Sri Lanka.
The fall is created by the Badulu Oya which flows through Badulla.
Dunhinda is a well-known waterfall in Sri Lanka. It stands 64 meters tall. The misty appearance in front of the waterfall during the rainy season inspired the name Dunhinda.
Please be cautious of monkeys in the area and avoid walking with food in your hands, which exposes you to them.
Please do not attempt to bathe in the flowing water because it is extremely dangerous.
